Meet the Performers

Amanda has been involved with pole fitness for almost 2 years. She participated in her first competition in June 2014 where she won her division. When not poling, she works as a personal trainer and studies massage therapy.

Maghann has been doing yoga for many years. In the past 3 years she has taken up pole, aerial silks, hoop/trapeze, contortion and Acro yoga. She has developed a love for pole and although she has only performed once in a small/local competition, she would like to compete in future competitions.

Kathryn started pole over a year ago and has enjoyed every second of it. It has been a wonderful learning experience and she has met so many new and fantastic people. This July she travelled to Ontario to compete in the Vertical Love Competition and placed first in the level two championship category. She is competing in the amateur division at this year's Canadian Nationals.

TJ picked up pole fitness 1.5 years ago, he fell in love with it very quickly and enjoys the challenge of the ever evolving sport. He will be competing at the Canadian National Pole Fitness Championships (Men's division) for the 2nd time on Nov 14th.

Alex decided to enter the world of dance at the tender age of . . . 23! Although she does not have any prior dance or fitness experience, she has dedicated her free time to developing her pole fitness skills. Alex's training paid off when she was accepted to represent Manitoba in the Canadian Pole Fitness Championships in the amateur division.

Dani started pole 2 years ago as a way to stay in shape during the ringette off season. Turns out she loved every minute of it and just had to keep going. She has never done any sort of dance before so it was out of her comfort zone but she is always up for a challenge and loves to see what her body is capable of. Dani hopes to keep training and compete at next year's nationals.

Virginia's first encounter with pole dancing was in her home country of Italy, where she took sessions with Dana Hesse. Pole dancing was an added interest to her career; which was in the music/show business, as stage hand and crew boss.
In 2010, she decided to move to Canada to marry the love her life. She trained in pole, almost everyday with strong dedication and determination. In 2012 she had the opportunity to take workshops with Alethea Austin and Cleo the Hurricane, and the experience motivated her to push herself to the next level. Virginia is a certified Vertical Dance (IPDRA) instructor with distinction, and she is now looking forward to teach and share with everyone, her love of pole dancing, with her strong-sexy style and of course a rock'n'roll soundtrack!
