What if I show up late? Can I still join the class?

Do I need any dance background?
No, you will learn everything you need to know at our classes.
I feel I'm not strong enough for these classes, will that be a problem?
No, we will teach you everything you need to know on how to become stronger in your upper body, core and all over body fitness.
What should I wear?
For POLE CLASSES:
Pole Fitness 1; Please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in (yoga pants, capri fitness tights, shorts, tank tops, any fitness top) Pole Fitness 2; You should wear shorts and a tank top. Sports Bras are recommended for protection and support.
Pole Fitness 3-9; You need to stick to the pole. In order for skin to grip the pole, pole dancers must have their legs, arms and stomach exposed. This is a safety concern. There are some grounded spins, poses, and floor work that can be performed while wearing pants. But in order to perform more advanced moves, we must have the proper amount of skin exposure. Most pole dancers do not have an issue with this at all, since our focus turns away from what our bodies look like and onto what they can do.
For SILK & HOOP CLASSES:
Please wear leggings and a long sleeve shirt
Am I too big/small to pole fitness?
Pole Fitness is for people of all shapes and sizes. You will definitely trim down as you go, and will see more body definition. Pole fitness is a whole body workout. You'll build skills as you grow and learn. That is part of what's so inspiring and empowering about it.
