Jessica Marsh

Picture
Jessica Marsh was born in Brandon, Manitoba and began developing her artistic passion at a young age. She attended the Brandon School of Dance, where she was taught by notable instructors such as Barbara Ehnes and Kelly Lumbard, cast in many different ballets, and won a variety of scholarships and awards, including being a two-time recipient of the Ms. Butterfield Senior Dancer award.

As a young instructor, Jessica taught ballet, lyrical, and jazz to various age groups in Brandon, was presented with multiple awards for outstanding choreography. In the summer of 2010, she completed a six-week ballet course at Steps on Broadway in New York City, further deepening her knowledge in ballet. In 2015, Jessica graduated from the Senior Professional Program at the School of Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. During her time with the program she worked with many phenomenal artists such as Gaile Petursson-Hiley, Stephanie Ballard, Odette Heyn, Susie Burpee, Davida Monk, Darryl Tracy, Roger Sinha and many more.

Jessica was first introduced to VogueFit when her friends asked her to take a dance class there for fun! This is when she met pole star and her soon-to-be idol and mentor, Tara Meyer. In March of 2015, Jessica took her first pole fitness private lesson with Tara and instantly fell in love. Since, Jessica has continued to love the strength and endurance that is developed in each pole class along with the grace and artistry that leaves her feeling strong, empowered and beautiful!

In November of 2015, Jessica became certified in the Xpert Professional Pole Fitness Teacher Training Program and began teaching at VogueFit. She also enjoys the thrill and challenge of competing in pole fitness. Her most recent accomplishment is winning 1st runner up in the North American Elite division at NAPDC (North American Pole Dance Championships).

Jessica continues her training in aerial arts, contortion, contemporary dance, lyrical, ballet and heels. She is currently working on completing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Winnipeg with dance as her major.
